About Fanshen

Fanshen Cox (she/they) is the founder and president of TruJuLo Productions, Inc. and leads TruJuLo Consulting, where she brings more than two decades of experience across film and television development, production, inclusion policy, and audience-building.

They are the co-author of the Inclusion Rider — the contractual framework for equitable hiring announced at the 2018 Academy Awards — and served as Manager in the California Film Commission's Film & Television Tax Credit Program, where she helped build the program's inclusion policy. Before that, they spent six years as SVP of Development and Impact at Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's Pearl Street Films.

Fanshen is also an award-winning writer and performer whose solo show, One Drop of Love, toured internationally, and the creator and executive producer of the Webby-nominated Sista Brunch podcast, now past 140 episodes.
